My name is Lindsey Cornelius. I am the Farm
Manager at Greymoor Farm. This is some of my
artwork. I have been drawing animals since I was
about 3 years old. I began drawing horses and they
progressed from outlines to figures to what you see
today. I concentrate on realistic type drawings and
can take a picture and turn it into a piece of
artwork. I have kept my artwork to myself and
my family and have been told many times that I
should do more with it, so here goes!
In middle
school, my art teacher got me involved in the
National Wildlife Waterfowl Stamp competition. I
competed three years and received an honorable
mention, and a special recognition award. The
special recognition was actually an award that
was created for just for me. My artwork had been
disqualified by one judge because he believed
that a duckling was never seen with a drake
duck. So even though I was disqualified from the
competition my artwork was printed out on all of
the invitations to the banquet and was displayed
as the welcome sign. I was presented with a
certificate and an art set.
As with
all artistic people I enjoy what I do and love
to share it with others. If you are at all
interested in having a portrait of your animal
done, please feel free to contact me at the
below email address. Please have a photo
available of your animal as close to the desired
pose as this will help me assess the difficulty
and price of the drawing.
